The Mission at Heart
Following God’s Lead, Step By Step
How It Began
Lost Sheep Farm was founded by Ray and Jennifer Thomann. It was born out of a baptism of anguish — a moment when the Lord shared a vision of His heart for those who are lost, hurting, and searching for hope. That anguish became the fire that fueled our desire to share the Good News of Jesus Christ across a nation in need.
This calling led us on what we now call our Journey of Trust — a season when our family left everything behind to travel the country, bringing a message of hope to whoever would listen.
From the very beginning, God placed a vision in our hearts to one day plant a spiritual refuge and retreat. After years of prayer, testing, and learning to trust His timing, He led us to Florida. Here, the Lord provided both the land and the blueprint to establish this ministry — a place set apart for renewal, rest, and the healing work of God.
Our Mission
Lost Sheep Farm’s mission is to:
Promote spiritual growth and renewal through impactful events, fellowship, private cabins, Freedom Prayer Path, and ministry outreaches.
Equip and encourage believers to engage the world with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Foster deeper fellowship with the Lord and strengthen bonds among fellow Christians.
Provide opportunities for connection with brothers and sisters in Christ in a welcoming, peaceful environment.
Offer a sanctuary in the beauty of God’s creation where hearts can be refreshed, bodies can rest, and souls can be healed.
Provide pastors, their families and congregations a safe haven to get off the spiritual battlefield to receive the rest and the restoration they need.
Phases - Step By Step
“Every build has a beginning, a middle, and a milestone — here’s how we bring the vision of Lost Sheep Farm to life, step by step.”
From God’s blueprint impressed on our hearts to the plans in action, every project follows a path with clear stages. These phases aren’t just steps in construction — they’re milestones that reflect vision, faith, and progress.
By walking through each stage together, we ensure that what begins as a calling takes shape as a place where people can gather, grow, and give glory to God.
